How is the heat transferred into a building?The air holds heat generated by a number of sources. The air source heat pump (“ASHP”) can collect and manage energy found in the outdoor air. With this system there is no need for digging or drilling and installation is very quick and simple. The air collected from outside is connected to the heat pump which takes the heat out of the air using the condenser and the heat exchanger in the unit and transfers it into a heating circuit and/or hot water tank inside the house. |
